Vaping "Epidemic" Parent information
According to CNN Health in an Article posted last week parents need to be more informed on the Epidemic of vaping and e-cigarette use in underage kids. Just in the past year these numbers have skyrocketed over 1.5 million from last year alone. This is a 78% increase in high schoolers and a 48% increase in Middle school kids. Totaling now a large sum of 3.6 million kids performing e-cigarettes. Source of National Tobacco Youth Survey
The FDA will try to enforce sanctions on the sales of e-cigarettes that they believe target children through the use of the flavors, Bubble gum, cucumber, vanilla cream, Etc. The result is a heafty sets of proposed regulations that were just recently released. The biggest if the ban of flavored ammenities is at gas stations and convienience stores. Ban marketing towards teenagers and Finally but most schockingly remove methanol flavoring from cigarettes.
The real cost is a initiative set by the FDA to show kids the true side of lung complications.
Diacetyl is a highly toxic chemical compound that is very dangerous to not only people who work with it but also to consumers. Diacetyl exposure can cause permanent, severe, and potentially lethal lung disease in workers and consumers. Diacetly is a flavoring compound found in Vapes and even some cigarettes.
So don't get hacked by vaping.
